Maeghan is an island girl, born and raised in Souris, Prince Edward Island. She moved to Moncton, New Brunswick in 2012 to attend Crandall University and began as an intern at Hillsborough Baptist Church. She assisted with youth group, mentoring the youth through their faith journeys. She has always had a passion for children and youth ministry and has come a long way from the timid, shy girl teaching children’s stories at the beginning of her internship.
Maeghan is now graduated from the Bachelor of Science program and has received a Youth Leadership Certificate from Crandall University.
Maeghan has taken part in several missions teams to Antigua and Barbuda, Jamaica, New York City and the Czech Republic. She is excited about what God is doing in Hillsborough and Albert County.
Maeghan started as a volunteer on the worship team at Hillsborough Baptist and is now the lead worship coordinator. She has always had a strong love for music and some of her best memories are when she and her two younger sisters would gather around the piano in the living room of their childhood home and sing songs together. She definitely never imagined it would lead to singing on a stage…in front of people! She knows God’s plan is always one more adventurous than you will ever imagine on your own, if you let Him lead. Maeghan was excited when the opportunity came to lead worship and counts it a privilege to be a part of bringing others into the presence of God, and ministering to people through music.
Maeghan is creative and loves to use her gifts whenever possible. She was recently involved with a project making a giant cassette tape out of wood and duct tape, used as a prop for a message series.
She also loves lattes, puppies, the sea and the sunshine.
