Three Colors of Love – Patience

Message one of the Fruit of the Spirit series.

“Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door.” (James 5:7–9, ESV)

1. What do you think about this virtue?
2. Remember a time when someone was patient with you. How did it feel at the time? How do you see their patience with hindsight?
3. Who or what is in your life that God is calling you to be more patient with?

  1. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the small group I was at on Sunday night at Andrew and Hollie’s. It was a great time of fellowship and sharing. I think these groups will be a blessing in the life of our church.
